An M&E Surveyor is required in Manchester for a contract assignment involving detailed assessments of mechanical and electrical building services.
You'll inspect installed systems, capture accurate asset and capacity information, and identify defects or technical limitations. Your findings will help inform maintenance requirements and potential refurbishment projects.
The Role
As the M&E Surveyor, you'll:
- Undertake site surveys covering mechanical and electrical services.
- Capture equipment details, plant capacities and system layouts.
- Review existing installations for defects and compliance concerns.
- Document constraints that could affect maintenance or refurbishment plans.
- Produce clear technical reports with supporting recommendations.
- Communicate with site contacts to organise surveys and validate findings.
About You
To be successful as the M&E Surveyor, you'll have:
- Experience carrying out M&E surveys or building services assessments.
- Strong familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipment and installations.
- Proven technical reporting and documentation skills.
- Good attention to detail when recording survey information.
- The ability to manage your workload and work without close supervision.
- A full UK driving licence would be useful.
