Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in Hard FM projects? We're working with a leading facilities management organisation to recruit an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of mechanical, electrical and fabric projects across a prestigious corporate site in London.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team, managing projects from inception through to completion while working closely with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders.
The Role As Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a range of Hard FM projects valued between £100k and £1m, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
You'll be the key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle, coordinating resources, managing contractors, mitigating risks and ensuring excellent client satisfaction.
Occasional weekend working will be required to support project delivery and minimise operational disruption.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical, electrical and fabric projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and key stakeholders.
  • Produce and manage project programmes, budgets and cost forecasts.
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely and in full compliance with CDM Regulations and statutory legislation.
  • Lead project meetings, provide regular progress updates and manage client expectations.
  • Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure successful delivery.
  • Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor quality throughout the project lifecycle and ensure all works meet required standards.
  • Produce accurate project reporting for senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement by reviewing completed projects and implementing lessons learned.
About You We're looking for someone who has:
  • 2-3+ years' project management experience within Hard FM, Building Services or Construction.
  • Experience delivering projects valued between £100k and £1m.
  • A good understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Fabric works.
  • Knowledge of CDM Regulations, Building Safety legislation and Health & Safety compliance.
  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and budget management experience.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
  • The ability to work independently whilst managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Desirable
  • PRINCE2, APM or PMP qualification.
  • Degree qualified (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience working within an outsourced Facilities Management environment.
