Boden Group, an award-winning specialist recruitment company from Birmingham, is partnering with the Facilities Management company CBRE to go into local schools.
In February 2023, both companies visited their first school, Coleshill school to support and educate children on their career options in Facilities Management.
It’s a great opportunity for Boden Group to support young aspiring students with an interview workshop and CV support to help set them up for success, regardless of their choice of industry. This is something that is very important to the team at Boden Group, as a local homegrown company they’re all passionate about making a difference in the local community.

This will provide students with the opportunity to learn more about FM, explore job opportunities, and gain insight into the essential skills and qualifications needed to pursue a successful career in this growing industry.
Students are encouraged to ask questions and gain a better understanding of the duties and responsibilities within Facilities Management. In addition, the visits offer an opportunity to engage in thoughtful conversations and gain valuable insights into the challenges and successes of the profession.
The partnership between Boden Group and CBRE is based on the shared goal of inspiring the next generation of Facilities Managers, and both organisations are committed to supporting students in their career pursuits. In addition to providing knowledge and information about the field, Boden Group will also provide support and resources for students who are interested in pursuing a future career in the recruitment industry.
With more than half of today’s FM practitioners eligible to retire in the next 5-15 years, it’s clear that the industry could be facing a crisis. This partnership between the two organisations is aimed at exposing students to the many career opportunities available in the Facilities Management industry.
