This is a unique "360-degree" role where you will have the autonomy to influence strategic initiatives, lead business development, and oversee the operational delivery of cleaning services within the public sector.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Director in Scotland, you will take full ownership of the regional portfolio. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader who enjoys the "thrill of the win" as much as the "success of the delivery." Your responsibilities will include:
  • Business Development & Bids: Identifying new opportunities within the Public Sector, specifically targeting Healthcare, Universities, and Schools. You will lead the bid and tender process, supported by a central admin and bid team.
  • Mobilisation: Taking a lead role in the "360 approach"—proposing, winning, and then mobilising contracts to ensure seamless service commencement.
  • Operational Excellence: Overseeing contract performance and ensuring high standards of service delivery across all Scottish sites.
  • Recruitment & Leadership: Identifying the need for, and recruiting, new frontline and site staff as you secure and grow the regional infrastructure.
  • Strategic Growth: Serving as a key part of the operational team with a focus on future expansion, including potential future acquisitions.

We are looking for an experienced professional who will get stuck into the day-to-day, yet possesses the strategic mindset required to lead a region:
  • Sector Expertise: Proven experience in Cleaning/FM sales and operations is essential.
  • Public Sector Focus: A strong understanding of the tender and procurement processes for public institutions like hospitals and educational facilities.
  • Hands-on Leadership: Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider functions (Finance, Sales, Bids) based in the South.
  • Drive & Ambition: Someone keen to excel and advance their career as the Scottish arm of the business continues to scale.
