The Role
- As the Handy Person, you’ll:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with maintenance specifications and log activities in real-time.
- Utilise your handy skills in basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, and decorating.
- Update the customer’s CAFM system with comprehensive details of tasks completed.
- Address reactive tasks promptly while identifying areas for operational improvements.
- Respond to equipment failures efficiently, including participation in the on-call rota.
You
- To be successful in the role of Handy Person, you’ll bring:
- A background in facilities maintenance or a similar role with practical handy skills.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Good organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- A valid full clean driver’s licence.
- Willingness to be flexible with working hours to accommodate call-outs.
