Electrical Shift Engineer


Are you an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer looking to join a leading Facilities Management provider within a critical environment? This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile static site in London, supporting essential building services operations across a fast-paced facility.

This Shift Engineer role offers long-term stability, exposure to critical environments, and the opportunity to work within a strong and supportive engineering team.


The Role

 
As the Electrical Shift Engineer, you’ll be responsible for supporting the day-to-day maintenance and operation of electrical and building services systems across the site.

Responsibilities include:

  • Completing reactive maintenance and helpdesk tasks
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Supporting general electrical repairs and maintenance
  • Maintaining high operational and safety standards across the facility
This role operates on a continental shift pattern covering days and nights:
6:30am – 6:30pm / 6:30pm – 6:30am.


The position is based on a static site in London, with only very occasional support required at another nearby location.


About You

 
To succeed in this Electrical Shift Engineer role, you will ideally have:
  • NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Engineering
  • 18th Edition qualification
  • Previous experience within building services or facilities management
  • Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills
  • Experience within data centres or critical environments would be advantageous
