Senior Quantity Surveyor – Nuclear Division Melton Mowbray (Site-based)
Competitive Salary + Package The Opportunity Boden Group is partnering with a specialist contractor in the nuclear sector to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor into a key commercial leadership role.

The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will lead the commercial delivery of multiple nuclear contracts, ensuring strong financial performance while supporting operational teams across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities - Take full ownership of commercial performance across multiple contracts
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and NEC frameworks
- Provide commercial insight and reporting to senior leadership
- Manage cashflow forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting
- Oversee valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Review and manage tenders, procurement, and contract documentation
- Identify and drive cost efficiencies and margin improvement
- Lead on commercial risk management, claims, and dispute resolution
- Maintain robust commercial systems and records (including CEMAR)
- Mentor and manage QS and Graduate QS team members
What We’re Looking For Experience - 5+ years’ experience in Quantity Surveying
- Strong background in construction or specialist contracting
- Experience on large, complex projects or frameworks
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts
- Experience in regulated sectors (nuclear, defence, infrastructure) – advantageous
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or similar

- Strong stakeholder management – able to influence at senior level
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams
- Highly organised, analytical, and detail-driven
- Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-compliance environment
