Finance Manager

As the primary financial lead for a large portfolio, you will act as a true business partner to the Head of Catering and site teams. Your focus will be on ensuring financial integrity while identifying opportunities for performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities: - Business Partnering: Develop strong relationships with senior operations to manage change controls, PO issues, and seasonal trading patterns.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecast processes, providing robust challenge and support to ensure accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Play a key role in the month-end process, reconciling accounts, challenging costs, and analysing client spend (Core/Non-Core).
- Operational Insight: Analyse site performance and provide detailed commentary/variance analysis. Drive projects such as labor management to improve the bottom line.
- Client Engagement: Attend quarterly reviews and regional workshops, presenting complex financial data simply and effectively to stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seek to eliminate administrative burdens and enhance financial control environments (sales reconciliation, stock, and cost control).
We are looking for an incisive, strong-willed analyst who sustains momentum when faced with challenges and can balance competing demands with ease.
Requirements: - Education: Degree-educated or equivalent with an accounting qualification (or part-qualification).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial roles, ideally within an international or multicultural environment.
- Technical Skills: Proven track record in financial modelling and a strong process orientation.
- Communication: Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and inspire people at all levels of a matrix organisation.
- Attributes: A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to work autonomously and meet strict deadlines under pressure.
