The Role
As the Mechanical Tradesperson, you’ll:
- Carry out both reactive and planned mechanical maintenance on various equipment, including AHUs and pumps.
- Respond urgently to critical plant breakdowns, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Complete and document scheduled maintenance tasks while maintaining compliance with regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems and report any issues.
- Assist in emergency and contingency procedures as needed.
You
To be successful in the role of Mechanical Tradesperson, you’ll bring:
- A technical qualification in a mechanical discipline and relevant experience in building maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- A thorough understanding of health and safety practices in a maintenance environment.
- Experience with planned preventative maintenance procedures and systems.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work.
