The Role As the Business Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in securing new catering contracts in the education sector. You will:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across primary, secondary, and further education institutions.
  • Lead the end-to-end tender process, including bid writing, stakeholder engagement, and presentations.
  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers including headteachers, governors, and procurement leads.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design compelling, tailored solutions that reflect client needs and organisational values.

You To be successful as a Business Development Manager, you’ll bring:
  • A proven track record in business development or sales, ideally within contract catering, facilities management, or a related B2B service.
  • A deep understanding of tender processes and the ability to craft winning proposals.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • A self-starting attitude with the ability to travel nationally as required.
