A reputable healthcare provider in Devon is seeking a qualified Plumber for a 12-week contract to support essential maintenance and compliance work across hospital sites. There is a strong possibility of this contract being extended into a permanent role for the right candidate. Please note a satisfactory DBS check will be required.
The Role As the Plumber, you'll:
- Carry out planned and statutory compliance maintenance on hospital premises.
- Install, modify, and maintain engineering systems and medical equipment.
- Service air conditioning and ventilation units.
- Work with water mixing valves, boilers, and pressure systems.
- Use CAFM software to log and complete jobs efficiently.
You To be successful in the role of Plumber, you'll bring:
- Level 3 Qualified Plumber/Fitter or equivalent experience.
- Experience with mechanical systems and routine maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive work approach.
- Effective communication with staff and stakeholders.
- Must be able to undergo and clear a DBS check.
Contract Details - 12-week fixed-term contract
- Hourly rate between £18 and £25, paid via Umbrella or CIS.
- Based in Devon within the healthcare sector.
- Likely extension into a permanent position based on performance and business needs.
