Senior Quantity Surveyor
A Midlands based Project Management and Cost Management construction consultancy are looking to employ a new Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Leicester office. This is unique opportunity to join a privately owned, well managed and financed company who want a positive, driven, Senior Quantity Surveyor. The Senior Quantity Surveyor or Associate must have a background working as a Quantity Surveyor or Cost Manager for a UK Real Estate Consultancy. The company have strengths in Residential, Health Care, High Education and more and are looking to add to their portfolio.
Senior Quantity Surveyor requirements:
5+ years working as a Quantity Surveyor
Degree educated withing Quantity Surveying, or similar with a minimum 2:1
Experience of residential developments
Capable of working independently
Produce Bill of Quantities
Experience of working as an Employers Agent would be beneficial
Understand construction programs
Understand Fund Management / Fund Monitoring
You will be required to provide a full range of Quantity Surveying/ Cost Management.
You will be expected to run individual projects from initiation to completion, supervising other team members where appropriate, and ensuring that the service provided to the Company’s Clients is always professional and in compliance with the terms of engagement and where appropriate, internal Quality Assurance standards. It is expected that you will always manage your own time efficiently and endeavour to control the cost of providing the service to the Client compared to the chargeable fees.
The standards required of any professional bodies of which you are a member, such as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, are expected to be upheld at all times. It is a condition of your contract of employment that you may be required to perform any duties subject to these duties falling within your assessed capabilities.
Complete support will be given to you by the Directors to enable you to fulfil our mutual expectations. You will be responsible for the management of staff on your team or under your line management,
