Technical Services Manager


Technical Services Manager required for critical government site – Greater London - Permanent – £55,000 - £62,000 per annum

The Technical Service Manager will provide technical and operational building services engineering support to regional management and site-based operational teams. 

Duties:

  • Providing expert advice and guidance on safe operational delivery of building services to government sites
  • Acting as the principal point of contact for operational teams in the  resolution of technical engineering challenges
  • Supporting operational teams complete outstanding works identified 
  • Responsible for providing technical advice on safe systems of work, compliance, repair and operation of building services engineering systems
  • Providing accurate and timely specific technical and management support to project delivery teams ensuring objectives are met
  • Complying with all Health and Safety policies, procedures and legislation
  • Monitoring and evaluating contractors, ensuring the quality of work meets the required standard, audit works and advise on remedial action  
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of effective technical management systems and procedures, including delivering technical training

Skills and Abilities:

  • A HND, NVQ 4 or equivalent, ideally engineering discipline. 
  • NEBOSH certificate or equivalent health and safety qualification
  • Formal qualifications and/or accredited training in mechanical or electrical building services
  • High levels of theoretical, operational and procedural engineering experience
