The Young Leader of the Year award was introduced by James Bradley, James Fitzpatrick Managing Director of Boden Group, who sponsor the Young Leader of the Year award. The quality of submissions for the Young Leader of the Year was astonishing and needless to say all candidates were tasked with a robust and challenging process.

Congratulations to all the finalists Bryony Wellman of ENGIE, Frankie Laugier-Davies of Pareto, and Sophie Leigh of ISS.

The winner of the Young Leader of the Year award was presented to Roshan Deshmanya of CBRE.

Roshan, the winner of the Young Leader of the Year, commented: “It’s an absolute honour to be awarded Young Leader of the Year amongst a strong pool of candidates. The YLOTY journey was an incredibly rewarding one and provided an opportunity to pause and reflect on my career achievements to date, ways in which I’d like to continue contributing to the community and the environment, and my aspirations to further the industry moving forward. A key highlight was the final round at the iconic City Hall overlooking the Thames, where we were partnered up and given the opportunity to demonstrate our thought leadership through a short presentation. I’m very grateful to the EWL for hosting a highly thought-out and rewarding judging process for the candidates. As YLOTY, I look forward to being a voice for young people and creating a meaningful impact in this dynamic industry of ours.”

James Fitzpatrick also commented: “The PFM Awards was a great night. Congratulations to Roshan Deshmanya on becoming the Young Leader of the Year, an amazing achievement to achieve.”
